Eglise Methodiste d’ Haiti operates six different guesthouses across the country. The primary purpose of each of these guesthouses is to provide safe, secure and hospitable accommodations for missioners engaged in ministry with the Methodist Church of Haiti (EMH). As space is available, support for other mission teams and travelers to Haiti is offered.
The Guesthouse in Petionville serves as the primary hub for teams arriving by air to Port au Prince. Some teams will spend their entire time in country at the Petionville Guesthouse and commute to their worksites on a daily basis. Other teams may spend one night in Petionville before transiting to auxillary guesthouses in Petit Goave (2) , Les Cayes, Jeremie, or Cap Haitien. Other teams may chose to fly directly to Cap Hatien and stay at the Cap Haitien guesthouse. Teams will normally spend at least one night at the Petionville or Cap Haitien guesthouse before returning to their home country.
This is a secure location in Petionville with a variety of lodging, meal and transportation options. Reservations are requested.
There is a pool on site, with electricity, showers, delicious meals, off-street parking, transportation, and WiFi available. The main building has air conditioning. No alcohol, smoking, or excessive noise is allowed on the property.
Each of the auxiliary guesthouses are the primary residence of the Circuit Superintendent. Each guesthouse has additional dormitory style rooms to accommodate teams.
All of the guesthouses are safe and secure inside enclosed compound. The house staff are well trained in caring for our guests. Bottled water and delicious food is always available. Reliable vehicles with well trained drivers are provided at each location.
